Andrew Hanson made his first piece of clothing at 16 and has never stopped. A fashion artist since before the term caught on, he started in Las Vegas, built his name in Los Angeles, and since 2003 has made custom pieces for rock stars, celebrities and a loyal circle of clients who have stayed with him through it all.

Clothing That Speaks has a logo, The F, but it was never the point. The point is the piece and the person wearing it. Rooted in a punk spirit but never limited by it, every design is made to start a conversation and to help you say something with what you wear.

Every piece is made by Andrew himself, start to finish: spray paint, signature stitching, non-toxic screen printing, custom dyes, upcycled materials and exclusive trims. Most are one-of-one; the rest are limited editions. Made ethically, never mass-produced, because art isn’t.
